"Yes but, If the fox is weakened by the quake it will fight harder, especially if it's hungry. No offence but not even Flamestar can take on a mad fox. I'll lead the fox away from the den and you flank it. Then we can both attack it." She cocked her head at Flamestar waiting for her agreement.

"Okay, get into position." Flamestar ordered, unsheathing her claws. "On my signal, go."
Flamestar silently crouched behind a shrub, gathering her hunches together, ready to attack as she gave the signal. Hazelfern stepped in front of the fox's den, starting to make as much noise as she possibly could.

Hazlefern limped passed the den yowling in fake agongy. She collasped onto the ground and began heaving and gasping for air.

Berryshine rushes into fox den, grabs HF, rushes out and plops her on the ground a fair distance away.
"WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! WOAH! You guys can't possibly go and attack the fox like that! Why don't we just look for Fernstorm instead? She's bound to have fled from the fox seeing as she could not possibly have taken it down herself. Ivymist too. Look girls, I vote we don't attack the fox and look for Fernstorm and Ivymist somewhere else. I've already found a fresh scent trail, who's with me?"

"Berryshine!" Hazelfern yowled. "You were supposed to be scouting the shadowclan border!" She picked herself up and turned to Berryshine. "But since you've gone and ruined the whole plan, we might as well go and search for Fernstorm somewhere else."

"well, you could have died in that fox den, please go back to camp and rest. I'd never forgive myself if you died."
She sat next to hf, ears drooped, and feeling guilty.
"I was really acting like a kit" she meowed softly.

"Don't worry Berryshine," Flamestar meowed, "Fernstorm's smart enough (haha) to know there's a fox nearby. We'll take care of it after we find our clammates and rebuild our strength."
Flamestar picked up the scent of Fernstorm again.
"This way." Flamestar gestured with her tail, leading Berryshine and Hazelfern cautiously away from the fox den.

Berryshine followed Flamestar, though she was still feeling a bit guilty of ruining everything. She sighed and picked up the pace. Oh well, the past is past...

"I smell Ivymist's scent too! I think we're close!" Flamestar exclaimed, "There she is! Ivymist! Are you okay?" Flamestar rushed towards her exhausted body, smoothing out her fur. She saw the mouse beside Ivymist and pushed it towards her jaws.
"Here Ivymist, you need this more than the clam." The scent of the mouse was tantalizing as Flamestar swallowed the thought back. She hadn't realized how hungry she was.

"Oh-No... we left Nightpaw alone back at camp!!!" Flamestar recalled, fear pricked her fur. "Berryshine, run back to camp and check if Nightpaw is okay. And this time please follow my orders (XD)." Flamestar hoisted Ivymist onto her back, struggling to keep her balanced. "Let's find Fernstorm before sundown!" (Note to Berryshine: you can make up a problem at camp if you want!  ) |

Hazelfern moved to take some of Ivymist's weight as they headed back to camp. "I sure hope Berryshine didn't find trouble," she mewed as the headed through the flattened camp entrance.

Fernstorm just sat in her den and watched as her clanmates went to..."search" for her, despite being probably one of the first cats found. She face-pawed. This is ridiculous.
