"BURHYSHEN?!" Fernstorm replied to the call, noticing it coming from her own den. She flew back into the den, pressing her head against Berryshine's. After doing that, she flew back out, calling again.
"EVEHMESST?! SHEDFLEET?! HAYZULFYERN?!" she called again, more or less desperate for her clammates.

Hazelfern limped from the wreakage. All around her trees had toppled and debris covered the area. She swung her head around two see out of her one good eye. the other had been scratched by a falling tree and seeped pus. Her hind leg was bent at a crooked angle and sent waves of pain through her leg whenever she moved. Hazelfern coughed and dragged herself out from a tangle of branches. She tried to pull herself free, but her hind leg was frimly trapped under a fallen oak. Hazelfern collapsed onto her side wheezing and coughing. She knew her best chance was to wait.
"FLAMESTAR! IVYMIST! BERRYSHINE! FENSTORM! ANYONE! HELP!"

"Oh, Hi Berryshine. I see you have decided to NOT guard camp and - GREAT STARCLAM! HAZELFERN!!! WHAT HAPPENED?!" Flamestar shrieked, rushing to her like a bolt of lightning. "YOU'RE GONNA NEED A LOT OF HERBS!"
Flamestar scanned the surroundings, fixing her gaze on some moss and cobwebs. Flying over to the objects, she clamped them in her jaws and flew back over to Hazelfern, covering her with a pile of moss and webs.
"WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!" Flamestar demanded as she cleaned Hazelfern's injuries.

Flamestar purred at her sarcasm, shaking her head after suddenly realizing she still was stuck under an oak "Berryshine, lift the tree from the other side and I'll lift it from the opposite side. On the count of tree (punpunpun), lift with all your strength."

"Huugggh!!!" Berryshine strained under the weight of the tree, lifting it with all her strength as she was instructed. The fact that she was doing it for one of her friends helped, giving her extra strength.
"PHEW!!" Berryshine finally managed to lift the tree with Flamestar, and stod panting, too tired to even nuzzle Haxelfren.

Flamestar, Berryshine and Hazelfern arrived back at camp slowly but safely. Flamestar guided Hazelfern to the Medicine cat's den and set a small moss bed for her and covering her with another layer of cobwebs. Leaving Nightpaw to look after her.
"Come Berryshine, we need to look for Ivymist and Fernstorm, before night settles." Flamestar meowed, gazing back at Hazelfern, "Will you be alright here, Hazelfern?"

"I'll be fine!" Hazelfern snapped, "And if you think any enemies are going to scent us, you're mad! They'll all be suffering from the quake too!" She talk a step forward cringing as he leg touched the ground. "I'm coming with you. If my clanmates are in danger, I'll never forgive myself." she said and promptly collapsed. She pushed herself upright began barking orders. "Berryshine, Fernstorm. You scout the territory by the shadowclan. Flamestar and I will scout the WIndclan. If you find anything unusual. report back here immediately." she swung her gaze atound the gathered catch. "Is that understood?"
Note to Hazelfern: We haven't found Fernstorm yet! XD

"Alright," Flamestar replied, feeling a little ashamed that she was following her deputy's orders. "Hazelfern, lean on my flank, you don't seem so steady on your paws... yet." Flamestar hoped that Fernstorm and Ivymist were okay.

"No, they didn't send me a message. I don't think Fernstorm had any signs either, she would've had told me if she did." Flamestar meowed worriedly.
She sighed, thinking to herself. 'What if BookClan wasn't supposed to survive. Was BookClan destined to suffer the fate Ancient SkyClan once did?'

Flamestar gave a mrrow of amusement as she scanned the territory for her clanmates, suddenly catching Fernstorm's scent trail.
"I found Fernstorm's scent trail..." Flamestar exclaimed, as she sniffed a couple other scents drifting through the air. She gasped, "I think I've found Ivymist too...! Oh-Great StarClam-No!...FOX!"

Hazelfern stiffened, "You should follow the scent trail. I'll stay here. The fox will eventually catch the smell of fresh blood and follow me. The you can rescue the others."
